Actors have an innate skill to know what actually a scene requires. I simply attempt to construct on that and hold chasing till we hit all of the vital notes. There wasn’t a lot improvisation.”

“We rehearsed for 9 months. Although it is exhausting to make sudden modifications in a tightly knit screenplay, I prefer to be open whereas directing on set. If a greater strategy comes up, I embrace it. Did the “Rehana Maryam Noor” thought emerge from real-life experiences? “Yes, it did. I write from my private experiences and issues that I’ve been observing intently in my life,” Saad replies.
