A biopic on legendary Kathak danseuse Sitara Devi is within the works, the makers introduced on Monday on the event of her one hundred and first start anniversary.

Barot mentioned he’s “excited” {that a} film is to be made on his mom’s life.
“When Raj Anand came to me with the idea of making a film on her, I realised it is coming from a very genuine space of enthusiasm and admiration towards my mother who was an iconic artist. We intend to bring to the screen the untold story of her life through this endeavour,” the eminent drummer mentioned in an announcement.

Ranjit Barot helps with the analysis for bringing the fascinating story of a girl who “redefined feminism and womanhood by living life on her own terms”.
Raj C Anand mentioned they’re trying ahead to bringing the story of Sitara Devi to life on the large display screen.
