The movie has left behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi when it comes to the Day 1 field workplace assortment. Gangubai Kathiawadi had collected Rs 10.50 crore on the day of its launch. However, post-pandemic, the movie has gotten the second finest opening after Sooryavanshi (Rs 26.29 crore).

Apart from Monjulika’s white-faced, long-tressed, black-dressed look, there are repeated jokes at the expense of an overweight child and a hard-of-hearing pandit, casual disrespect towards an old woman who has just died, gross misuse of a donkey, and Roohan’s borderline sexism towards the other gender.”
