Ben Affleck to direct ‘Keeper of the Lost Cities’ adaptation for Disney

WASHINGTON: Ben Affleck has added one other adaptation to his rising directorial slate. Affleck and his firm Pearl Street Films manufacturing firm are set to helm and produce an adaptation of the bestselling ebook sequence ‘Keeper of the Lost Cities.’

According to Variety, Affleck will adapt the venture’s script with Kate Gritmon, whereas Madison Ainley serves as an government producer for the venture based mostly on Shannon Messenger’s novel.

The sequence ‘Keeper of the Lost Cities’ revolves round a 12-year-old telepathic lady named Sophie who’s on the lookout for solutions about her secret skills.

The actor-director, who starred within the critically acclaimed sports activities drama ‘The Way Back’, not too long ago wrapped up taking pictures for Ridley Scott’s ‘The Last Dual’ and New Regency’s ‘Deep Water.’

The sequence joins an inventory of directorial efforts by Affleck together with ‘Gone Baby Gone,’ ‘Live By Night,’ ‘Argo,’ and ‘The Town.’
