Anthony Hopkins on board Florian Zeller’s The Father

Anthony Hopkins is reteaming with Florian Zeller for The Son, the follow-up movie to the duo’s 2020 movie The Father, which received Hopkins the most effective actor Oscar for his lead efficiency.
The information comes days after the movie wrapped manufacturing in London. Hopkins joins an ensemble solid that features Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, and Zen McGrath.
Zeller and The Father co-writer Christopher Hampton tailored the movie from the previous’s acclaimed stage play.
The movie tells the story of Peter, performed by Jackman, whose busy life together with his new companion Emma (Kirby) turns nerve-racking when his ex-wife Kate (Dern) turns up with their teenage son, Nicholas, who’s distant and indignant. The movie follows Peter’s efforts to be a greater father whereas the son’s situation stays a reason for concern for the household.
