Animated ‘Ghostbusters’ film within the works

LOS ANGELES: “Ghostbusters” franchise is increasing its universe with the announcement of an animated movie that’s at present in growth.

The sequel to “C” can be returning to the unique movie’s dwelling in New York City, reported C.

Sony Pictures and Ghost Corps’ Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan made a number of bulletins as a part of Ghostbusters Day, the annual celebration of the primary “Ghostbusters” movie’s launch on June 8, 1984.

The new animated movie relies on “Ghosbusters” IP and is being developed by Reitman and Kenan together with Sony Pictures Animation. Chris Prynoski and Jennifer Kluska are set to direct, with Brenda Hsueh set to put in writing.

During their presentation on Ghostbusters Day, Reitman and Kenan additionally confirmed that the sequel to their 2021 movie “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” will return to the story’s unique dwelling in New York City.
