Abhimanyu Dassani: Bollywood has taught me flexibility, endurance and understanding

Directed by Vivek Soni, Meenakshi Sundareshwar traces the journey of a younger couple, performed by Sanya Malhotra and Dassani in titular roles, who’re in a long-distance marriage.

This might be Dassani’s second launch, after Vasan Bala’s Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. The actor additionally has two different tasks lined up – motion romantic comedy Nikamma and Aankh Micholi.

“It has been quite a journey of exploring myself, understanding who I am and where I come from and what I want to do with the time that I have. “But then, once you are in there, you have to be flexible enough to understand that you will have to flow with what is happening instead of being rigid. It has taught me flexibility and patience and understanding how to grow into something that I want to do and want to become,” he added.

Co-written by Aarsh Vora and Soni, Meenakshi Sundareshwar is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 5. The movie is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment.
