Aaron Pierre joins the forged of Mahershala Ali’s Blade

Old star Aaron Pierre has joined the forged of Disney and Marvel Studios’ Blade reboot, led by two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pierre will characteristic alongside Ali and veteran actor Delroy Lindo within the upcoming adaptation of the favored comedian.

Playwright Stacy Osei-Kuffour has been tapped to put in writing the film, whereas Mogul Mowgli helmer Bassam Tariq is connected because the director.

Ali will star within the movie as Blade, the half-human, half-vampire who first debuted within the pages of Marvel Comics in 1973’s Tomb of Dracula No. 10.

The actor was introduced as starring in Blade throughout Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con panel in 2019. Ali had a short voice cameo as Blade within the post-credit scene of the latest MCU film Eternals.

Pierre is understood for the Syfy sequence Krypton and filmmaker M Night Shyamalan’s 2021 characteristic movie Old. He will subsequent voice star as Mufasa in Barry Jenkins’ The Lion King prequel.
