Speciality metal PLI: March 29 deadline for functions

The authorities on Wednesday stated it has began inviting functions from buyers seeking to make investments underneath the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for speciality metal.
March 29, 2022, has been fastened because the final date to submit the functions, the Ministry of Steel tweeted. On July 22, the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had authorised a Rs 6,322-crore PLI scheme to spice up manufacturing of speciality metal in India, attracting an extra funding of about Rs 40,000 crore.
