1 min read

The authorities could be very delicate to the problem of rise in gasoline costs, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri mentioned on Tuesday, asserting that individuals will get some reduction within the coming months. International costs are slowly coming down and stablising, the minister added, addressing a press convention.
“The Central government is very sensitive to this issue…I see that in the coming months relief will come,” he mentioned. Puri, nevertheless, defended the federal government on the constant rise of gasoline costs, saying the Centre imposes an excise responsibility of Rs 32 per litre and the income is spent on welfare schemes.
