Sensex surges over 200 factors in early commerce; Nifty tops 15,790-mark

Equity benchmark Sensex jumped over 200 factors in early commerce on Monday, monitoring good points in index heavyweights HDFC Bank, TCS and Reliance.
The 30-share BSE index was buying and selling 211.04 factors or 0.40 per cent increased at 52,695.71 in preliminary offers. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty inched 65.10 factors or 0.41 per cent as much as 15,787.30.
Bajaj Auto was the highest gainer within the Sensex pack, rising over 1 per cent, adopted by Tata Steel, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank, TCS and Reliance Industries.
On the opposite hand, Tech Mahindra, Dr Reddy’s and HDFC have been the laggards.
In the earlier session, the 30-share BSE index ended 166.07 factors or 0.32 per cent increased at 52,484.67. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty superior 42.20 factors or 0.27 per cent up at 15,722.20.
Foreign institutional traders (FIIs) have been web sellers within the capital market as they offloaded shares price Rs 982.80 crore on Friday, as per provisional alternate information.
Elsewhere in Asia, bourses in Seoul and Shanghai have been buying and selling with good points in mid-session offers, whereas Tokyo and Hong Kong have been within the purple.
Meanwhile, worldwide oil benchmark Brent crude fell 0.09 per cent to USD 76.10 per barrel.
