Petrol, diesel costs hiked for fifth straight day; Diesel above Rs 100 in West Bengal

Petrol and diesel costs on Sunday had been hiked for the fifth straight day by 35 paise per litre every, pushing pump charges to new excessive throughout the nation.
The value of petrol in Delhi rose to its highest-ever stage of Rs 107.59 a litre and Rs 113.46 per litre in Mumbai, in accordance with a value notification of state-owned gas retailers.
In Mumbai, diesel now comes for Rs 104.38 a litre, whereas in Delhi, it prices Rs 96.32 per litre.
