PAN turns inoperative until Aadhaar is linked

As per Section 139AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, each one who has been allotted a PAN, and who’s eligible to an acquire Aadhaar quantity, is required to intimate his Aadhaar quantity to the earnings tax authorities.

The major situation for exemption is that the people don’t possess the Aadhaar quantity or Aadhaar enrolment ID.

Where a person already has an Aadhaar quantity, the above exemption could not apply.
