Maruti Suzuki gross sales up 6% in June at 1,55,857 models

The nation’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Friday reported a 5.7 per cent improve in whole wholesales at 1,55,857 models in June.

The firm had dispatched 1,47,368 models to sellers in June 2021, MSI stated in a press release.

Last month, the corporate’s home gross sales elevated 1.28 per cent to 1,32,024 models, as in opposition to 1,30,348 models in June 2021, it added.

Sales of mini automobiles, comprising Alto and S-Presso, declined to 14,442 models, in comparison with 17,439 models in the identical month final yr.

Sales within the compact section, together with fashions comparable to Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and Dzire, nevertheless elevated to 77,746 models in opposition to 68,849 models in June 2021.
