Mahindra & Mahindra posts practically two-fold bounce in passenger car gross sales at 21,046 items in July

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Monday reported an almost two-fold bounce in passenger car gross sales at 21,046 items in July.
The firm had bought 11,025 items in the identical month final yr, M&M stated in an announcement.
Utility Vehicles gross sales have been at 20,797 items final month, as towards 10,898 items, a bounce of 91 per cent, it added.

Cars and vans gross sales have been at 249 items in July this yr as in comparison with 127 items within the year-ago month, the corporate stated.

Commenting on the efficiency, M&M Ltd CEO Automotive Division Veejay Nakra, stated, “more than 90 per cent of our dealerships and workshops are now operational across the country. We have seen significant increase in activity levels, enquiries and as a result, sales across our product portfolio.”
