Empowered panel of secretaries fashioned to watch Gati Shakti

The Government has introduced the structure of an Empowered Group of Secretaries (EGoS) to supervise the implementation of infrastructure improvement value Rs 100 lakh crore underneath the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (NMP).
The EGoS, headed by the Cabinet Secretary, additionally contains secretaries from 17 ministries and can assessment and monitor the implementation of the NMP.
