Old vs new present revenue tax slabs: When it involves Budget, the one factor that the salaried class stay up for is the revenue tax rebate. In a giant disappointment for the salaried class, FM Sitharaman didn’t announce any change in revenue tax slabs for 2022-23. The revenue tax slabs haven’t been modified since 2014. The primary private tax exemption restrict was final revised in 2014. FM Sitharaman launched a brand new tax regime whereas presenting funds 2020. However, the brand new tax regime stays non-obligatory for taxpayers. 

Budget 2023: Old revenue tax slab vs new revenue tax slab New tax slabs

1) Income as much as ₹2.5 is exempt from taxation underneath each regimes.

2) Income between ₹2.5 to ₹5 lakh is taxed on the fee of 5 per cent underneath the previous in addition to the brand new tax regime.

3) Personal revenue from ₹5 lakh to ₹7.5 lakh is taxed at a fee of 10 per cent underneath the brand new regime

4) Income between ₹7.5 lakh to ₹10 lakh is taxed at a fee of 15 per cent underneath the brand new

There are three slabs above ₹10 lakh

5) Personal revenue between ₹10 lakh and ₹12.5 lakh is taxed at a fee of 20 per cent underneath the brand new regime.

6) Income from ₹12.5 lakh to ₹15 lakh is taxed at 25 per cent

7) Income above ₹15 lakh is taxed at a fee of 30 per cent.

Old tax slabs

1) Income as much as ₹2.5 is exempt from taxation underneath each regimes.

2) Income between ₹2.5 to ₹5 lakh is taxed on the fee of 5 per cent underneath the previous in addition to the brand new tax regime.

3) Personal revenue from ₹5 lakh to ₹7.5 lakh is taxed at a fee of 15 per cent underneath the previous regime

4) Income between ₹7.5 lakh to ₹10 lakh is taxed at a fee of 20 per cent within the previous regime

5) Under the previous regime private revenue above ₹10 lakh is taxed at a fee of 30 per cent.

On 1 February, Union Budget 2023-23 might be introduced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and the funds speech is scheduled to start out at 11 am.
