Avenue Supermarts shares soar almost 11% as Q2 revenue rises two-fold

Shares of Avenue Supermarts on Monday jumped almost 11 per cent after the corporate reported a two-fold improve in its consolidated internet revenue for the second quarter ended September 2021.

Avenue Supermarts, which owns and operates retail chain D-Mart, on Saturday reported a two-fold improve in its consolidated internet revenue to Rs 417.76 crore for the second quarter ended September 2021.

The firm had posted a internet revenue of Rs 198.53 crore within the July-October quarter a 12 months in the past, Avenue Supermarts stated in a BSE submitting.
Its income from operations was up 46.79 per cent to Rs 7,788.94 crore in the course of the quarter underneath overview as in opposition to Rs 5,306.20 crore within the corresponding quarter of the final fiscal.
