Air India comes residence to TATA: TATA Sons introduced as profitable bidder at 18000 crores

On 8 October, Friday, the Secretary, Department of Investment and Asset Management, (DIPAM), the Government of India, introduced that TATA Sons have been chosen as profitable bidders for Air India.
Speaking at a press convention, DIPAM secretary Tuhin Kanta introduced that Talace Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt Ltd, has been chosen because the profitable bidder for Air India.

The profitable bid doesn’t embrace Air India’s non-core belongings corresponding to land and constructing, that are collectively valued at Rs 14,718 crores. DIPAM has introduced {that a} letter of intent shall be issued and a share buy settlement shall be signed quickly.
