The Israeli Air Force, in a public announcement, confirmed the attacks and claimed the port was being used for the transfer of military assets from Iran. The Israeli Air Force further asserted that these assets facilitate terrorist plots against Israel and its allies. Houthi Rebel Forces reported they were actively engaging Israeli aircraft. A spokesperson for the Houthi forces indicated their air defense systems were deployed against the Israeli aggression.
