When we won the exhibition matches, the whole stadium of 50,000 people chanted ‘Pakistan Zindabad!’…then I realized what injustice we have meted out to them. They (Bangladeshis) did not want to leave us but we did not do justice to them,” stated Khan.

“The same thing is happening right now. The country’s biggest political party is being pushed against the wall and attempts are being made to kill it’s leader,” stated Khan, indicating his assassination try.

On Friday, PTI staff held protests throughout cities towards the assassination try. Khan requested the social gathering staff and supporters to proceed protesting towards the assassination try on him till three “accused”, together with the Pakistan Prime Minister and Interior Minister, didn’t resign from their posts.

“I knew that they will try to kill me when I was leaving for the long march… I will take to the streets immediately after recovering and will give a call for [march towards] Islamabad,” stated Khan whereas addressing his supporters from Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore, the place he’s presently present process therapy.
