US Secretary of State Blinken speaks to EAM Jaishankar; discusses Ukraine battle

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held a telephonic dialog with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and mentioned the continued Ukraine battle, counter-terrorism and different regional and international points.

Jaishankar thanked Blinken for his “strong and clear message” on counter-terrorism in addition to his name for holding these chargeable for the 26/11 Mumbai assaults accountable.

Blinken, whereas addressing an off-the-cuff session of the UN Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTC) in Mumbai through video message on Friday, mentioned permitting the architects of the Mumbai assaults to go unpunished will ship incorrect message.

“We have a responsibility to the victims and to people everywhere to bring to justice the perpetrators of the Mumbai attacks, including their masterminds,” Blinken added.
