A capturing at a shopping center within the capital of the US state of South Carolina has left a number of folks injured, police mentioned.

Columbia police mentioned they had been evacuating the Columbiana Centre mall Saturday afternoon and dealing to evaluate the scene.

“We have confirmed that people have been injured during the incident — they are receiving medical attention,” police tweeted. “The extent of injuries unknown at this time.”

Update: We have confirmed that individuals have been injured through the incident — they’re receiving medical consideration. The extent of accidents unknown right now. #ColumbiaPDSC officers have been evacuating the mall and getting folks to security.
