The Presidential Wall of Fame at the White House now features a provocative alteration: instead of a portrait of former President Joe Biden, the space displays an image of an autopen. This move highlights Donald Trump’s ongoing criticism of Biden. Trump has often accused Biden of utilizing an autopen for signing official documents.
The display, situated in the West Wing Colonnade near the Rose Garden, includes portraits of all former U.S. presidents in gold frames. Trump’s communications advisor Margo Martin posted a video of the display on X. Trump has repeatedly claimed, without providing evidence, that Biden used an autopen to conceal health issues. During a recent interview, Trump mentioned the autopen image. The White House also released a photo of Trump examining the display. Trump’s portraits flank the autopen image, representing his 45th and 47th presidencies. Guests attending a dinner in the Rose Garden on Wednesday will be able to observe this display in person.
