Following in the footsteps of Representative Buddy Carter, Claudia Tenney has reaffirmed her support for Donald Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize candidacy. She has twice nominated Trump previously and intends to submit a third nomination when the opportunity arises in the fall. Tenney, the sole member of Congress to formally nominate Trump in the past, underscored the importance of his contributions to peace. In her previous nominations, she cited Trump’s role in the Abraham Accords and his efforts against Iran and Palestinian terrorism. Tenney believes that Trump is highly deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize.
