Taiwan’s international ministry expresses gratitude in the direction of US for sustaining peace in area

Taiwan’s international ministry has thanked the United States for sustaining safety within the Taiwan Strait.

Taiwan’s international ministry expressed its “sincere gratitude” in the direction of the United States for taking “concrete actions” to take care of safety and peace within the Taiwan Strait and the area in a press release on Saturday.

The assertion got here in response to feedback from US Indo-Pacific coordinator Kurt Campbell, who mentioned on Friday that China “overreacted” to US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s go to to Taiwan.
