A recently surfaced audio clip, reportedly detailing a conversation between Israel’s Mossad and senior Iranian generals, has become a subject of intense discussion. The recording, which is believed to have emerged after the launch of Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, presents a chilling warning to the Iranian officials: evacuate within a specified timeframe or face severe consequences. The central message was clear, ‘You’re on our list right now.’ The Washington Post obtained the audio recording, one of at least twenty such calls targeting high-ranking Iranian officials. In the audio, an Israeli intelligence operative, believed to be from Mossad, is heard issuing a stark warning to an IRGC general, ‘I can advise you now, you have 12 hours to escape with your wife and child. Otherwise, you’re on our list right now.’ According to the report, this warning preceded the strikes against the IRGC commanders.
The Mossad operative underscored the severity of the threat by stating, ‘We will hit you, your family, your children, everyone, with the dirt,’ and providing a 12-hour window for the general to escape. The threats were communicated in Persian. The operative reinforced the urgency by saying, ‘Like I said, 12 hours from this very minute that I spoke to you, you have time to escape,’ and adding, ‘If not, you have no one to blame but yourself.’ The operative also alleged to have been calling from a nation that had, in the hours prior, assassinated several top IRGC generals. The operative also inquired, ‘Do you want to be one of them? Do you want to be the next one on the list? Do you also want to destroy your wife and child? No, right?’ The general responded by asking, ‘So, what should I do?’ The operative instructed the general to record a video denouncing the Iranian regime and send it via Telegram within the 12-hour timeframe. Whether the general complied remains unconfirmed. This intimidating campaign was intended to create instability among lower-level leaders and make it more difficult for the Supreme Leader to replace officials. The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office has not yet addressed the audio.
