In a significant operation, the Delhi Police Special Cell, working alongside other security agencies, has brought Salim Pistol, a prominent figure in India’s criminal underworld and a major supplier of arms, back to India from Nepal. He was arrested in Nepal on August 9th and is currently in the custody of the Special Cell in Delhi. Salim had been a fugitive since 2018, infamous for providing Turkish-made ZIGANA pistols to criminal gangs within India. For years, he smuggled modern weapons from Pakistan, supplying them to various gangs. Following his initial arrest in 2018, he managed to flee the country after being released on bail.
