Russian army forces have destroyed a brand new laboratory on the Chernobyl nuclear energy plant that, amongst different issues, works to enhance administration of radioactive waste, the Ukrainian state company liable for the Chernobyl exclusion zone mentioned Tuesday.

The state company mentioned the laboratory, constructed at a value of 6 million euros with assist from the European Commission, opened in 2015.

Radionuclides are unstable atoms of chemical components that launch radiation.
