During the SCO Defence Ministers’ meeting held in Qingdao, China, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh engaged in bilateral discussions with his counterparts from Tajikistan, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. He provided detailed information regarding the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, as well as India’s Operation Sindoor, which focuses on dismantling terrorist networks based in Pakistan. Singh stressed the significance of ongoing defense cooperation and the exploration of new collaboration prospects, particularly in technical fields. India’s advancements in defense production and its goal of self-sufficiency were also brought to light. The leaders agreed to continue their cooperation in various areas, including capacity building, training, and military technical cooperation.
