The Bangladesh delegation was led by Foreign Advisor Touhid Hossain, while the Pakistani delegation was headed by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The agreements include a visa waiver for official and diplomatic passport holders. Furthermore, the agreements encompass establishing a Joint Action Committee for trade, fostering cooperation between the foreign service academies, promoting collaboration between the national news agencies Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation (APPC), and creating an institutional partnership between the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) and the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI). A cultural exchange program was also signed to encourage stronger relationships between the people of both countries.
