Modi Breaks Barriers: 100M Instagram Followers Lead Globe

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Instagram account has soared past 100 million followers, marking him as the undisputed king of social media among world leaders. This feat arrives from a decade of strategic, engaging online presence.

From his 2014 debut, Modi has mastered the art of digital storytelling—posting everything from pandemic responses to space mission celebrations. His more than double the followers of Trump (43.2 million) sets a high bar.

The leaderboard tells the tale: Prabowo Subianto (15M), Lula (14.4M), Erdogan (11.6M), Milei (6.4M)—their sum still under Modi's. On X, 106.2 million tune in; Facebook adds 54 million more. Indian rivals like Yogi (16.1M) and Rahul Gandhi (12.6M) follow distantly.

Global approval surveys align perfectly. Statista crowns Modi at 70%, topping Ishiba (63%) and Milei (60%), with Trump at 43% in 11th. Morning Consult's fresh poll shows 67% for Modi versus Trump's 40%.

What drives this? Modi's knack for blending official duties with human touches fosters genuine connections. As social media shapes politics, his record isn't just numbers—it's a masterclass in global outreach and voter engagement.
