An enormous blackout led to darkness throughout a number of cities and cities throughout Pakistan late on Saturday. According to media reviews, the blackout was a results of a fault within the energy distribution system. Residents of Karachi, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and others confronted the blackout, the reviews acknowledged.
Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat tweeted that the National Transmission Despatch Company’s traces have tripped, inflicting an outage. “It will take sometime before everything gets back to normal,” he added.
Power Minister Omar Ayub Khan stated the frequency within the energy distribution system abruptly dropped from 50 to zero, inflicting the blackout.

Initial reviews counsel there was a fault within the Guddu energy plant in Sindh province at 11.41 pm, the Energy Ministry tweeted.
