China has informed India of the removal of export restrictions on crucial items such as fertilizers, rare earth magnets and minerals, and tunnel boring machines. This announcement comes after Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar addressed these issues with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. During his visit, Wang Yi indicated that Beijing has begun to fulfill India’s requests, with shipments of these items already underway. The easing of these restrictions is seen as a positive step toward improved bilateral ties.
