In the wake of alleged Israeli aggression, Iranian security agencies have been actively pursuing individuals suspected of working for Mossad. Twenty such individuals have been arrested in recent months, the Iranian judiciary confirmed. Those found guilty of espionage will face severe penalties, serving as a deterrent. Some of those arrested have been released after investigations cleared them of the charges. A judiciary spokesperson stated there would be no leniency towards those involved in espionage, promising harsh consequences. The Iranian media reported that Rouzbeh Vadi was executed after being convicted of spying for Israel and providing information that led to the deaths of other scientists. The authorities plan to release a full report after the investigation is complete.
