During the UN Human Rights Council session, India responded to Pakistan’s accusations with strong criticism, focusing on Pakistan’s domestic issues. Indian representative Kshitij Tyagi discussed the Pakistani military’s attacks on civilians in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. India stated that Pakistan should focus on its own economic recovery instead of making accusations against India. Tyagi explained that Pakistan could only achieve this if it stopped the bombing of its own citizens.
India accused Pakistan of misusing the platform with unfounded and provocative statements. At the 60th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Counselor Kshitij Tyagi emphasized that Pakistan should address its failing economy, fix its military-controlled politics, and improve its human rights record. He criticized the Pakistani delegation for consistently misusing the forum with baseless and inflammatory statements against India.
