A shocking aviation event occurred at Hong Kong International Airport early Monday when a Boeing 747-400 series cargo plane veered off the runway post-landing. The aircraft, en route from Dubai, is understood to have collided with a ground service vehicle, subsequently pulling it into the water near the runway. The impact was severe, resulting in the tragic deaths of two ground personnel. The flight crew, however, is reported to have avoided major injuries. Emergency crews were promptly on the scene to manage the complex rescue and recovery operation. An investigation into the root cause of this fatal accident is actively being conducted by aviation authorities.
