A violent clash in Balochistan’s Barkhan district resulted in the deaths of four Baloch fighters. The confrontation occurred in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil on Friday, lasting several hours and involving heavy weaponry. The deceased were identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib, and their remains were taken to a Rakni hospital. The opposing group, as described by locals and activists, is a pro-government militia. The Pakistani authorities have yet to comment officially. Concurrently, significant fighting was reported in the Spilinji area of Mastung district, where Pakistani forces initiated a military operation. Large numbers of troops entered the mountainous area late Thursday night, resulting in intense gunfire and explosions. Casualties have been reported on both sides, although the exact numbers are not yet known. No Baloch armed group has taken responsibility for the clashes in Spilinji. These incidents reflect the ongoing unrest and conflict between nationalist groups and state forces in Balochistan.
