Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, sharply criticized Israel, calling the United States its ‘Daddy’ following an Iranian missile attack. On X, Araghchi wrote that the ‘Israeli regime had NO CHOICE but to RUN to “Daddy” to avoid being flattened by our Missiles.’
Araghchi also cautioned the United States, stating that a deal with Iran would be impossible if the U.S. continued to disrespect Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei. He highlighted Iran’s resilience, independence, and the nation’s history of resisting outside influence, indicating that Iran would not tolerate threats or insults.
The comments were made after Donald Trump, the former U.S. President, stated that Khamenei was lying about winning the war and claimed to have saved him from death. Trump also announced imminent talks and declared the Middle East war to be over.
