2 passenger planes come into contact at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, runway closed
By India Today World Desk: A runway at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport was shut for operations after two planes got here into contact on a taxiway, Japan’s transport ministry mentioned, including that no accidents or harm was reported.
The incident occurred round 11 am on Saturday (native time), and concerned business planes operated by Thai Airways and Taiwan’s Eva Airways, as per the ministry and Tokyo Fire Department.
Of the 4 runways at Haneda, Runway A was closed for operations following the mishap.
In footage broadcast by NHK, the 2 planes on the runway stopped as fireplace division officers and different employees gathered on the taxiway. Reports recommend that unidentified particles may be seen on the bottom close to the planes.
