At least 10 individuals have been killed on Thursday after gunmen opened hearth at a bar in central Mexico.

In the same incident in May, gunmen killed 10 individuals in an assault on a lodge and two bars in Mexico’s central metropolis of Celaya.

In March, nineteen individuals have been shot and killed in central Mexico on Sunday, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) stated in a press release. Several others have been injured and have been rushed to the hospital.

And in January, six members of a household have been murdered in a rural group in Guanajuato state — the fifth such assault within the municipality of Silao in 4 months.

Since December 2006, when the federal government launched a controversial army anti-drug operation, Mexico has recorded greater than 340,000 murders, in keeping with official figures.
