Zoho, a prominent player in the Indian tech landscape, has significantly expanded its digital payment offerings with the introduction of its new POS devices. Presented at the Global Fintech Fest 2025, these devices signal Zoho’s intent to become a major competitor to current market leaders like PhonePe and Paytm.
The company’s new range includes an all-in-one POS device, a smart POS device equipped with a touchscreen and integrated receipt printer, and a static QR code solution paired with a sound box for payment alerts. This diversified product line caters to a broad spectrum of merchant needs.
Designed for modern commerce, Zoho’s payment terminals support multiple connectivity methods such as 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, facilitating payments via chip cards, UPI, and QR codes. The real strength lies in the deep integration with Zoho’s comprehensive business tools. This allows merchants to access and manage their accounting, track payments in real-time, and perform other crucial business functions directly from their payment terminal.
This hardware launch is a natural extension of Zoho Payments, which started as a software solution in 2024. The company provides a unified dashboard for consolidated payment and billing information. Zoho also prioritizes security, as evidenced by its PCI DSS certification.
