The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has proposed to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rule to ease the process of vehicle transfer. According to the new proposal, the owner of the vehicle can make anyone a nominee through online application even after vehicle registration.

After this proposal, in case of death of the owner of the vehicle, the vehicle can be transferred without any problem. As of now, you will not need to constantly go to different offices of the family members, nominee and submit many types of information and documents.

Apart from this, sometimes in the case of commercial vehicles, vehicle permits are also canceled. This makes it difficult to regain permission to use that vehicle.
