Windows 11 users are soon to receive a major update of AI-powered features, with Copilot at the forefront of this enhancement. The new features aim to transform the way users interact with their devices, offering enhanced capabilities and streamlined workflows. The Copilot Vision feature will enable users to scan and analyze anything displayed on their screen directly within their Windows environment. This addition simplifies how users interact with digital content, enabling users to directly ask questions about content, photos, and documents, eliminating the need for separate applications. Furthermore, users can now ask Copilot to execute actions on the PC such as picture enhancements. Microsoft announced these features in a blog post, indicating a phased release for all users. The new features are also designed for Copilot Plus personal computers. Microsoft’s reports indicate the increasing adoption of generative AI across a wide range of activities, from work and business tasks to personal hobbies. Windows is designed to integrate these experiences to make common tasks easier. Users with Snapdragon-powered Copilot Plus PCs will also be able to access the AI agent via the Settings app. The “Click to Do” feature is also launching, which allows for quick actions such as text summarization and pronunciation correction. These updates also feature the rollout of an AI sticker generator and image editing tools.
