WhatsApp is introducing a Night Mode to its built-in camera, aiming to improve photo quality in low-light conditions. The feature, currently being tested in the Android beta version 2.25.22.2, promises significant improvements for users. The Night Mode, identifiable by a moon icon, will automatically adjust image settings to reduce noise, improve detail, and enhance clarity in darker areas. The feature negates the need for additional lighting. In addition to the new Night Mode, WhatsApp recently updated its camera with real-time filters for photos and videos. Additionally, the platform is planning to incorporate functionality that allows users to import profile pictures directly from Instagram or Facebook, offering more options for personalization.
