As the iPhone 17 Series launch approaches, it’s anticipated that several older iPhone models will be discontinued. This has been a consistent trend, with Apple typically removing older models after introducing a new series. The upcoming Apple Event 2025 is expected to follow this pattern.
Reports indicate that the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max may be removed from Apple’s official website following the launch of the iPhone 17 Series. These models might still be available through third-party retailers, but only as long as stock remains. Once the stock is depleted, these models will no longer be found in the market.
Besides the iPhone models, the Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and AirPods Pro 2 Gen are also expected to be discontinued. Discontinuation implies that the company will cease sales of these models on its website and halt their manufacturing. Consumers may still be able to purchase these models through online retailers like Amazon and Flipkart after they are discontinued. Some models may have their prices reduced instead of being discontinued, providing an opportunity for consumers to buy Apple products at lower prices.
