The internet subscriber base saw a slight drop, with a similar decline in broadband numbers. Wireless users consumed an average of 22.19 GB of data per month, and average revenue per GB was ₹9.11. Wireless ARPU increased. Gross revenue for the telecom sector grew, along with the adjusted gross revenue. Both wireline and wireless providers complied with key Quality of Service benchmarks. Furthermore, the report highlighted the number of permitted private satellite TV channels, active pay DTH users, and operational private FM radio channels.
