The Nothing Headphone 1 is scheduled to launch on July 1, coinciding with the release of the Nothing Phone 3. These details were announced by Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, at the SXSW London event on June 5, with the launch event set to take place in London. This launch signifies Nothing’s expansion beyond smartphones. The Headphone 1, the company’s debut over-ear headphones, has been developed in collaboration with KEF, a British audio specialist. The aim is to deliver innovative and premium-quality sound solutions to consumers while maintaining an affordable price. The Headphone 1 aims to offer a listening experience on par with the Apple AirPods Max and Sony WH-1000XM6 but at a competitive price point, possibly around $299 in the U.S.
