Windows 11 users can expect new AI features from Microsoft, delivered through Copilot. This update includes the Copilot Vision tool that can analyze what’s visible on a user’s screen. The new features will be rolled out gradually, and some are exclusive to Copilot Plus PCs. Users will be able to access Copilot Vision through the Copilot app. Once activated, users can ask questions about the content displayed on their screen. Copilot can also perform tasks like enhancing image lighting. According to a Microsoft commissioned report, a significant percentage of users have adopted generative AI for professional and personal applications. Microsoft intends to enhance Windows by integrating AI to simplify user tasks. The AI agent is accessible through the Settings app for users with Snapdragon-powered Copilot Plus PCs. The “Click to Do” preview allows users to summarize text, improve reading and pronunciation. Additional features include an AI-powered sticker generator in Paint, an object select tool to edit parts of an image, a new AI lighting option in Photos, and a screenshot tool to accurately capture content on the screen.
