India’s Defence Cyber Agency has initiated the ‘Cyber Suraksha’ exercise, a nationwide cybersecurity training program designed to address the increasing threat landscape. This multi-phase exercise, running from June 16 to June 27, 2025, involves a diverse group of over 100 participants from defense and related agencies. The exercise combines technical simulations, leadership training, and strategic discussions to enhance cyber defense capabilities. Key elements include high-paced gamified cyberattack drills, the CISOs Conclave, and Table-Top Exercises for strategic decision-making. The initiative underscores the agency’s commitment to building a ‘security-first culture’ and ensuring long-term resilience within military and defense-linked networks, with plans for future editions already in place.
